Where Circle Time Builds More Than Routine

A teacher leads a group of young children in a hand-motion song or activity, standing in front of a 'Summer Fun' bulletin board decorated with beach-themed decorations in a preschool classroom.

Every day at Creative Center, our children gather for circle time. Every day looks a little different. Some days are full of songs and clapping. Other days bring new colors, numbers, or a story that gets everyone talking.

Circle time looks like a simple daily habit. But it teaches children how to listen, wait their turn, and join in as a group. Our teachers use this time to build language skills and share new ideas, all while keeping the room full of energy and laughter.

More than anything, circle time helps our children feel like they belong. They learn each other's names and cheer each other on. These small moments build the kind of friendships that carry them through the school year.
